On behalf of Chicago Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month – China Star Night Organizing Committee, it is my honor to extend an invitation to you to attend the 2006 Chicago Asia Pacific Heritage Month – 6 th Annual China Star Night to be held on Monday, May 8 at Drury Lane Place in Oak Brook.
The Chicago Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (CAPAHM) is an important event for demonstrating Asian Pacific American culture and economic achievements. Since this event made its debut in 2000, it has been held annually between May and June in Chicago, organized by the Illinois State Government and the Chicago City Government. China Star Night, hosted by China Star Media Corporation, has become one of the most important cultural and economic exchange events in the CAPAHM, enhancing upcoming cultural exchange and economic cooperation between American and Chinese corporations.
Activities at China Star Night include, but are not limited to, a China Star performance gala featuring the Twelve Girl Band from China, banquet dinner, business and cultural exhibitions. The participants consist of state and city government representatives plus overseas Chinese and media delegates.
Your attendance will be very important to us. Looking forward to hearing from you. |
